Rubio Palmer Films is an independent production company creating cinematic documentaries and visual storytelling rooted in human connection, cultural encounter, and the relationship between people and landscape.

Founded by Thomas Palmer and Maria Alejandra Rubio, our work moves between remote natural environments, intimate character-driven stories, and visually immersive worlds.

We are drawn to stories that explore identity, resilience, freedom, and the ways people inhabit extraordinary places.

Our documentary work includes Guerreras and Two Worlds One Summit, alongside commercial and branded productions developed across sport, fashion, expedition, and cultural storytelling. Working between documentary and commercial filmmaking allows us to combine cinematic craft with agile, field-based production experience.

With more than 15 years in the film industry, we have extensive experience filming in mountains, jungles, and remote locations, often under demanding conditions and with small adaptive crews. For every project, we assemble a carefully selected team of collaborators tailored to the creative and logistical needs of the production.

At the heart of our work is collaboration. We believe the strongest films emerge through trust, long-term relationships, and a deep respect for the people and environments we film.
